2. Children's Privacy & Parental Consent

Our courses are designed for students aged 10–18. This website's contact form is intended to be used by a parent or legal guardian to enquire about or enroll a child in a course — we do not knowingly collect personal data directly from a child through this website without a parent or guardian's involvement.

  • Enrollment and initial inquiry is always completed by a parent or legal guardian, who provides consent on the student's behalf.
  • Any information provided about a student (name, age, course interests) is processed strictly to respond to course inquiries and deliver educational services.
  • Parents and guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's information at any time — see Section 7 below.
  • We do not use children's personal data for marketing or advertising purposes, and we do not publish a testimonial, photo, or project attributed to a named minor without separate, explicit parental consent.

3. Zero Server Storage & Contact Inquiries

We maintain a strict zero-persistent-storage policy on our web infrastructure:

  • No Client or Student Data Stored: We do not store any personal information, student profiles, message logs, or contact records on our server databases.
  • Contact Form Transmission: When you submit an inquiry through our contact form, your provided information (such as name, email address, and message details) is used solely to construct an email message. This data is transmitted directly to our inbox and is never saved or retained on our web hosting server.

4. Hosting Provider & Infrastructure

Our website infrastructure is hosted with Hetzner Online GmbH on servers physically located in Nuremberg, Germany.

When you access our website, Hetzner temporarily processes basic technical connection metadata in standard web server log files (such as anonymized IP addresses, browser specifications, and timestamps). This processing occurs strictly to ensure infrastructure stability, performance, and network security in full compliance with European data protection standards.

5. Email Processing & Service Providers

To ensure reliable delivery of website contact form submissions, we utilize transactional email processing services provided by Sinch Mailgun.

All contact form messages are processed exclusively through Mailgun’s European Union (EU) servers. Mailgun processes your email address and message contents solely for the immediate routing and delivery of the message to our inbox, operating under full GDPR compliance and strict data processing agreements.

6. Data Sharing & International Transfers

We do not sell, trade, rent, or profile your (or your child's) personal data. Because our hosting provider (Hetzner) and email routing infrastructure (Mailgun EU) operate entirely within Germany and the European Union, all temporary transit data remains within Switzerland and the European Economic Area (EEA), benefiting from fully recognized adequate levels of data protection.

7. Your Data Protection Rights

Under applicable FADP and GDPR provisions, you hold comprehensive rights regarding your (and, as a parent or guardian, your child's) personal information. You are entitled to request:

  • Access: A copy of any personal data we hold about you or your child in our correspondence records.
  • Correction: Immediate correction of any incomplete or inaccurate information.
  • Erasure: Permanent deletion of correspondence records retained in our direct mailbox, subject to statutory business retention requirements.
